It was that time of year again. When every cub scout gets so excited to build his pinewood derby car. Zane was that boy. Excited to build. Excited to paint. Excited to race.
Unfortunately, he never made it to the derby. About a half hour before the start, he was jumping on the trampoline with Lance. Somehow he ended up with Lance's knee in his eyesocket. OUCH. He wasn't up to going. He laid on his bed and kept his eye closed for over an hour. It was quite painful. :( He earned the "Ghost Rider" award from the Pinewood Derby though and ended up with a Shiner on top of it.
