It was time for another local POA show. ...time to start practicing what she saw and learned in Fort Worth. Sierra continued to learn and compete in new classes such as showmanship and halter. Buster can do these classes, Sierra just needed to learn how.
It's all about setting up your pony just right and showing him off! Convince the judge that you have the BEST pony out there (and she does:).
In her Bareback horsemanship, Sierra earned 2nd (out of 5). In Country Western Pleasure, where the older girls can compete also, Sierra earned a 5th out of 11. WHen it came time for her age division in Western Pleasure, she earned a 1st out of 8. Way to go!!! She also eanred 3rd out of 11 in Senior Western Pleasure. Another 1st of of 7 in Western Horsemanship. She tried Reining for the first time and came out with a 2nd out of 3. Not bad for you first time.

Buster has more of a western look, then english so she didn't do so well in Hunter Under the Saddle. But in Huntseat Equitaion she came out with a 3rd out of 8.
Sierra's gaming skills continue to be refined also. Better times. Better turns. A couple times, her pony got a little hot and so she purposefully disqualified herself when she made him fix it. In the long run, that will pay off. Overall, she earned the Reserve (2nd) High Point for her age division. Good job Sierra!
