Intense Concentration

Wes was given a racetrack by his Grandma that he already had. So, he got to return it and go exchange it for something else. He took a long time to browse and decide. He was very methodical about it. But, once he saw it, he knew what he wanted immediately and then was no mind changing at all. First, he picked out a toy model motorcycle. Since, he still had money left, we went to the book section. He then picked out this CARS watercolor painting book. He spent a lot of time today painting.
It takes a lot of concentration to paint.

And, I mean, A LOT.

It was pretty cute to see him work hard for so long. Yes, I'm a bad mom cause I think this was his first painting session.

And, boy, was he proud of his work. He was sure to show Dad as soon as he came home from work.

You're a better mom than I am. I don't even want to consider paints in this house. My kids still can't handle crayons. And all heck breaks loose if they get ahold of a pen.

Hmmm....I don't think Camryn has painted. I bet she would love it too.

I love this! I particularly love the one of him holding up the finished product. The look of pride on his face is adorable!
