Sierra had a Regional POA Show the Saturday before Easter. The western part was on Friday and the english and gymkhana were on Saturday. Usually it is all on one day. So, I thought we'd come home early. WRONG. We left our house by 7am and got home by 6:30pm. And, we actually left early and missed the last couple of games because we were tired and cold. (The weather was windy and rainy that day). Even though it was a long day again, we had a great time. Zane and Wes ran around and played. Sierra did a lot of jumping and Pepper did great. They even raised the bars once for him and he jumped higher than he has before. They earned a second for Hunter Over Fences and one First Place for Hunt Seat Eq. Over Fences and another First Place for Open Jumping. Way to go Sierra and Pepper!

The Gymkhana games were a blast. But, there were a couple of bigger, faster POA's that kept putting in her 3rd place. But, that 's okay. 3rd is still great, right?! She earned a 3rd in the Texas Rollback, 3rd in the Cloverleaf Barrel, and a 3rd in the Single Pole. But, somehow the other two disqualified in the straight barrels and so Sierra toped the remaining girls and ended up with a First Place! Way to go Sierra and Pepper! Pepper has to work extra hard too...he's the smallest one out there!

Well, Sierra was truly in her element and it was fun to watch her. Congratulations!
